Good call on Eleanor Rigby. My other (Beatles) suggestions include Something, Girl, Michelle, Norwegian Wood, or Wild Honey Pie. Personally, I’d go with Old Brown Shoe, Help! or Mean Mr. Mustard, but I think those choices are telling of my strained realtionship with technology…

I think you should go with the classic, “fluffy”.

But if you’re sticking with Beatles tunes, how about “Blackbird”? It works for a spyplane, why not a hard drive.

I name all my Macs and iPods for Shakespearean characters. The desktop systems are male, and the laptops are female. I don’t have a rule for iPods, although my last two have been male just by chance. There was an outlier with my first iPod which I named “Headwig” because of it’s white colour. I think Headwig was a girl.
