Soliciting Feedback

So I would like some feedback if you have a moment. I’m giving some space to my presence on other sites, and I was wondering what you thought about that.

I enjoy using the photos up there, as they wind up being some of the only color on the site, so if I keep the photos, I’d like to keep the rest of the banner as well. Previously that space gave a brief explanation of who I am and a little bit about the site, but I figured that if I keep that area static for long enough, you’ll ignore it completely.

So do you like my use of the space or should I include something else there?

Update: I’m not getting paid for this just promoting the other things I do around the web. Melanie pointed out that I might not have made that clear.

By “promotion” do you mean paid advertisements? I’m all about social media types making money, so yeah, go for it. But don’t get rid of the photos. They are awesome!

Rob- I like the approach you’re taking with the links to other sites. We’re in the process of doing something similar for the founders’ profiles on my company’s web site. Like you said, it makes a lot more sense than listing static data that your regular readers will eventually ignore.

Is your Facebook profile restricted or something? I tried following the link and it just re-directs me to the home page…
