Apparently there are good guys everywhere. The ASPCA runs a mobile neutering clinic. I can’t imagine a better service to offer. Here’s their copy:
The ASPCA runs a community outreach program whose mission is to end the euthanasia of adoptable animals in New York City by preventing accidental and unwanted births of puppies and kittens that eventually end up in NYC shelters. We offer free and low cost spay and neuter surgeries and vaccinations to low income pet owners as well as a range of services for animal rescuers and other animal caretakers with varying needs.
This is a wonderful service and opportunity to make a difference. I really didn’t mean for this to turn into a dog blog, but it has accidentally. The ASPCA is running the program throughout April in all five boroughs. They also have a Trap Neuter Return program on that site.
