After spending 11 years in marketing, I’ve decided to pivot. I’m enrolling in the Flatiron School’s Data Science program in April of 2019 and putting a period on this chapter of my career.
As this is being typed, I’m avoiding doing more prep work for the course. I’ve set my technical review for early April and I have dozens of hours of training to do before that happens. I’ve cleared the decks of all my old blog posts, because I honestly don’t care if anyone wants to relive the shitty tech blogging I was doing in 2008.
I’m finding this extremely difficult to pick up, but I’m not letting it dissuade me. One day I’ll come back to this and laugh that I was having so much issue understanding how to use map and lambda, but for now it’s difficult.
