The Ceiling Fan

So Amber and I were at Lowe’s looking at ceiling fans. We picked one out, they only had the floor model left so we decided to buy the floor model. It was originally $119.95, then it was reduced to $85.00. Since we bought the floor model we got even further savings and with tax it would up being $70.13. Excellent.

I asked how to tell the difference between the lighting and the fan pulleys, because if the chains were identical there might not be a way of figuring it out. She looked at me like I had two heads.

“The light is the longer one. Hadn’t you even had a ceiling fan before?”

“Nope.”

Her father is coming over today to put the fan in, hopefully by the time we replace all the light fixtures in the house that we don’t like (this replaces one of three on the first floor) I’ll figure out how to put these things in myself.
