So you know that you’re turning your girlfriend tech-y when she knows that laptops are going to use flash memory instead of hard drives looking forward AND she makes fun of you for only having a desktop.

so the idea is that I post a link to macZOT.com, a site that kinda works like w00t! but for Mac software, theyll lower the price of their deal today, the AppZapper. I lke this application based alone on the icon for the app, buyt the functionality seems very cool as well.

So lately, I’ve taken to designing wordpress blogs (as is relatively obvious by this wordpress blog designed by me.
Unfortuantely, my web design skills became kinda obsolete back in 2000 and I’m slow to pick it all up. But I think I’m getting it. I designed Amber’s companie’s websites www.theperfectglow.com and www.ambersophia.com. Amber Sophia being the more impressive than The Perfect Glow at the moment. Also my own company’s site blattcaveproductions.com.
I’m pretty happy with all three, as I’ve been able to implement most if not all the design ideas I had. This blog in particular was probably the hardest to really nail down all the different elements and file structure. This site is running Squible, Amber Sophia and Blattacve Productions are both running Contempt and The Perfect Glow is running on K2.
So I left my cellphone at a client’s house last Sunday, and it’s been nine days since the last time I used my cellphone. I’ve gotta admit it’s been kinda nice. All my car rides have been without distraction and I’ve been able to think or listen to a podcast or music without interruption. I haven’t been interrupted at work with phone calls from other places I work either. It’s been nice.
I’ve kept up with my messages remotely from the phone and returned calls, but mostly it’s just been quiet. Hopefully this experience will teach me to not want to contact people impulsively as much.
It has been kinda hard on my remembering to call Amber from places before I leave, but I’ll go back to religiously calling as I leave once I get my phone back tonight. So if you’ve been calling me for over a week and haven’t left any messages, I’ll be back on the other end of the phone tonight.
