MySpaceAmber and I decided to go to the mall on Memorial Day because we needed dog food, we wanted some board games and I wanted to go out for the afternoon. We decided on the mall in Milford because it’s nicer than the one in town and there’s a Target in the mall. So off we went to the mall to walk around and eventually get dog food. We always walk around Target for some reason, maybe it’s to satisfy a leftover need of mine from my mallrat days. We walk through electronics and I’ll make a joke about getting a Wii, but they never have any. She makes her way over to the magazines and I check out new DVDs, music and books (I never buy any). Each time we walk buy, theres a big empty bottom shelf under the Wii games. This is where they would keep the Wii systems if they could keep any in stock.This time around we walked by the video game section and there was a shelf full of Wiis.
I said “Oh my God. They have Wiis.”
“So get one.”
And so I did. I had to wait a few minutes for a Target employee to open up the glass case, but it was ours.
I spent the rest of the afternoon checking 4 video game stores and a Best Buy for “Wii Play” which comes with another controller for Amber and we were in business. We spent last night playing Wii Sports and Wii Play and it was GREAT.

I just got one last week, my buddy picked one up at Meijer, and it kicks butt. Try that paper mario game, it’s really cool.
