I Will Vote for Obama, and Have A Message for Governor Palin

I don’t think that I’ve said it on the blog yet. Inspired by Andrew Hyde’s Be Political I can say with no reservation that I will be voting for Barack Obama for President of the United States.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, this past weekend Jon Stewart spoke at Northeastern University.

She came out again today. She was talking to a small town, she said that small towns, that’s the part of the country she really likes going to because that’s the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly… Fuck you. I’ve never seen someone with a greater disparity between how cute they sound when they’re saying something and how terrible what they’re saying is.

I’ll say it too, because I share the exact same sentiment. Governor Palin, fuck you.

This will probably be the last political post I put up for a while, as I have nothing to say more about this, nor do I want to convince you of anything or be convinced of anything.

  1. I haven’t voted for a major-party candidate since 1996, and I’m not about to start now.

I’m writing in Ron Paul, even though he’s technically not “running” anymore.
