The Archives!

Incase you needed more proof besides Tape’s comment on my post about Comcast and Plaxo, here’s a story about how Comcast lied to the FCC about fucking up their customer’s data transfers all day long.

Plaxo was purchased by Comcast.

I’m not sure if you’re on Plaxo, but I’m not anymore. They have a horrible history and they are the company that is attempting to slow down BitTorrent traffic. Also, Tape hates Comcast and that’s all the motivation I need to not do business with a company.

How Do I Delete My Plaxo Account?

How do you generate comments for your posts? I’m not sure there’s any answer besides creating a community. For instance, my post on Guillermo Vargas Habacuc draws lots of people in from Google, but there have been no comments left on the story. It has the highest amount of page views, but nothing in terms of comments.

Recently I’ve been going out of my way to leave comments on the personal blogs I read on a regular basis, because I believe in treating others as you want to be treated. This works in some cases, but not all I’m sure. How do you start to build comments on your site?

I was walking through a book shop the last night and I stumbled upon this:

Gary Vaynerchuk\'s 101 Wines: Guaranteed to Inspire, Delight, and Bring Thunder to Your World in the wild!

IT officially comes out on May 13th and if you weren’t planning on going to one of Gary’s book signings, or you haven’t already purchased your two copies, or you’re just crazy about hel;ing Gary out, you can head down to Posman Books located in Grand Central Terminal in New York City right now and buy your copy. Posman Books.

I kinda forgot about the street date when I saw the book, but little did I know of how few people have actually had that book in their hands before!
